Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is vital for managing the relationship between ProAmpac and existing accounts.  In this role, the CSR will manage inventories, speak daily with accounts to meet their needs, and manage the shipping schedule as needed.  The CSR will also provide quotes and other information to help secure new prospect business.  The CSR will work very closely with the National Account Manager for accounts and prospects on the above-mentioned tasks.  At ProAmpac, the CSR acts more as a strategic relationship manager.  This is very much a proactive role, not a reactive call-center environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and respond to incoming calls from both internal and external customers
  • Work with assigned customers directly on inventory management, scheduling, order placement, product inquiries, concerns/questions and shipment of goods
  • Responsible for accurate order placement which includes items, quantities, shipping/billing information, pricing and freight, among other tasks
  • Work with National Account Manager to develop accurate cost quotes for sales opportunities
  • Build products to meet required specifications in HP/Tech Forms
  • Manage artwork approval process
  • Quote accurate freight rates for customers
  • Manage time independently while prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Initiate and complete process for customer complaints or concerns
  • Process accurate credits/debits
  • Review order report daily and take appropriate action on outstanding issues
  • Respond to voicemails and emails
  • Participate in both internal and external meetings as requested
  • Work with team on objectives to improve customers' overall service experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years Customer Service experience
    • Emphasis on large, strategic account management
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Able to interact well with customers via phone and email
  • Clearly set priorities on tasks and complete in a timely manner
  • Excellent Communication skills
