Position Summary

The Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing all corporate ProAmpac tradeshows. The Specialist will be responsible for graphic design of branded collateral, as well as the social media strategy related to the overall business strategy. In addition, the role will manage the ProAmpac Exchange branded store.

 Essential Duties and Tasks

 Tradeshow Management

  • Manage the corporate tradeshow budget
  • Work with the marketing team on strategic shows to attend
  • Sign up for shows, order show services, organize shipping
  • Work with tradeshow vendor on management of booth spaces and assets, graphics, logistics
  • Travel to some shows and supervise labor on booths that require hired labor for booths 10X20 or larger

Graphic Design

  • Provide graphic design for branded collateral, tradeshow communications, corporate communications, social media posts, and specific brand projects
  • Manage design and layout of quarterly corporate newsletter

Social Media

  • Create social media strategy to coincide with market and tradeshow strategies
  • Utilize social media as a strategic tool for communication
  • Create content and communicate content creatively, while responding to conversations within the ProAmpac brand community
  • Manage all corporate social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Provide monthly analytics
  • Create strategy for growth of all platforms to increase followers and brand awareness

ProAmpac Exchange

  • Manage and execute the strategy for the branded ProAmpac Exchange store
  • Administer training to new store buyers and communicate changes to the group as needed
  • Monitor store merchandise; questions; communication
  • Manage store vendor Imagination Branding

 Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business Discipline; Post-graduate degree a plus.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in graphic design.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in developing and implementing social media strategies.
  • Knowledge of tradeshow implementation a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
