Supports scheduling of jobs on all machines and maintenance/analysis efforts in forecasting and capacity planning. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
  • Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
  • Attends daily/weekly meeting with S&OP team and manufacturing to ensure schedules meet customer needs.
  • Responsible for daily reports that support scheduling KPI's and shares communication with appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for UAT Testing for both Peoplesoft and Preactor.
  • Responsible for data entry of product run speeds and qualified machines for order completion both in Peoplesoft and Preactor.
  • Identifies requirements and Performs product transfers of materials between multiple locations.
  • Become familiar with Logility(forecasting/capacity planning software) and provide maintenance and analysis as needed.
  • Provide general analytical support for S&OP department.
  • Trains in other areas of supply chain and provides back up support during absences and periods of peak activity.
  • Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co workers and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Education and / or Experience

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Reasoning Ability          

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills              

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Shop Floor database software, Microsoft Office internet software, ERP software, Logility, and Preactor Scheduling software.
